Ok, so I took a step back and realized that I was jumping the gun by rushing into the painting stage. So here is a refined under painting, I think things will move along a lot smoother from here.
Hah! this is cool man, I like how you're taking a minute to think out the drawing more, though you got some issues with your vanishing points! Check the perspective of the desk to the bed and the little table next to it, along with the other objects in the room. Also, just as an aside, maybe it's me, I dunno, but the monster has some sort of, "Come hither..." look on it's face...?
